Hot tub, furniture & residential crane lifts

When it won't fit down the side of the house, through the door, into the elevator or up the stairs, we lift it over or up instead.

Residential lifts

For the loads that won't fit the way they're supposed to

Homeowners usually find us after something has already gone wrong: the hot tub arrived and the side gate is too narrow, the sofa won't make the turn on the stairs, the fridge doesn't fit in the condo elevator. We solve that by lifting the load over the obstacle, with the truck parked on the street or the driveway and the crane reaching across.

Hot tubs, swim spas, sheds, gazebos, pergola kits and landscape stone go over the fence into the backyard. Sofas, sectionals, mattresses, fridges, pianos and safes go up to a balcony or in through an upper-floor window, which is a common problem in Toronto condos and in older houses with tight stairwells. We cradle the load properly so it arrives in the same condition it left.

Reach is 65 ft, so most lots and most low- and mid-rise balconies are within range from the street. Send us photos and we'll tell you quickly whether it works.

Questions we get

Hot Tubs & Furniture: the common questions

Can you lift a hot tub over my house? +
On a typical lot, yes. We park in front and reach over the roof into the backyard. A photo from the street and a rough idea of where it's going in the yard is enough to confirm.
Can you get a couch onto a condo balcony? +
If the balcony is within reach from where we can park, yes. Most buildings up to about six storeys are workable depending on setback. Many condos require a certificate of insurance from the property manager first; we provide that.
Will the crane damage my driveway or lawn? +
We put pads under the outriggers on soft ground and interlock. Tell us what the surface is.
What do I need to arrange with my condo? +
Most buildings want advance notice, a certificate of insurance and sometimes a booked window. Ask your property manager what they require and we'll supply the paperwork.
