Shipping container lifts & delivery

Set down exactly where you want it, not slid off a tilt bed into roughly the right spot.

Shipping containers

Containers placed by crane, not dragged

Most container delivery is done with a tilt-bed trailer: the truck backs up, tilts, and the can slides off. That needs a long straight run-up and it leaves the container wherever it stops sliding. We lift containers with the crane instead, which means we can set one over a fence, beside a building, onto blocks or a pad, or into a corner of the yard a trailer can't back into.

That's what makes us the call for containers going into tight spots: residential driveways, job sites with no room to manoeuvre, yards with obstructions, and anywhere you want the can placed precisely. We also reposition containers that are already on site, and move them between sites.

20 ft containers are the usual job and sit comfortably on the 25 ft deck. For anything larger or unusually loaded, tell us the weight and we'll confirm.

Questions we get

Shipping Containers: the common questions

Can you deliver a container into a backyard? +
If we can park in front and the yard is within reach of the boom, yes. That's the kind of placement a tilt-bed can't do and we can.
Can you move a loaded container? +
Depending on the weight. An empty 20 ft can is a few thousand pounds; a loaded one can be well past our 8-ton limit. Tell us what's in it and we'll say.
Do you supply containers? +
No, we move them. We work with whoever you're buying or renting from, and we'll pick it up from their yard.
Can you set it on blocks or a gravel pad? +
Yes. Have the blocks or pad in place and we'll set it down level on them.
