Machinery moves

Heavy equipment moved and set, not just dropped off

Industrial equipment is awkward to move for the same reason it's expensive: it's heavy, it's dense, and it has to end up in an exact spot, often on a pad or through a doorway. We handle the whole move. The unit is lifted onto the 25 ft deck, hauled, and craned onto its pad, its skid or its spot on the roof.

Typical loads are standby generators, air compressors, transformers, chillers, air handlers, dust collectors, water heaters and boilers, shop machinery and crated equipment coming off a supplier's dock. The 8-ton limit covers most of it; for anything near that, we ask for the exact weight before quoting.

If the equipment is going into a building rather than onto a pad, we set it at the door or loading dock and your riggers take it from there, or we lift it through an opening at height if there is one.

Questions we get

Machinery & Equipment: the common questions

Can you move a standby generator? +
Most commercial standby generators are well within 8 tons, enclosure and base tank included. Give us the model number and we'll check the weight.
Do you move equipment inside a building? +
We get it to the door, the dock or an opening at height. Inside the building is rigging work, which we don't do; we'll coordinate with your riggers so there's no gap.
Can you remove the old unit as well? +
Yes. We lift it onto the deck and haul it away, or set it down on site if you're handling disposal.
